Teeth Whitening in Mohali & Chandigarh

Professional whitening lightens stains from tea, coffee, smoking and age. We first examine your teeth to make sure whitening is right for you.

In-clinic whitening

We offer in-clinic laser whitening, usually completed in a single 30–60 minute visit. A whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated with a light while your gums are protected.

Who is it for?

  • Natural teeth that are yellowed or stained
  • People with healthy teeth and gums: cavities and gum problems are treated first

Whitening does not change the colour of crowns, fillings or veneers, and it is not done during pregnancy.

How the treatment works

  1. Check-up and cleaning to remove surface stains and tartar.
  2. Shade check: we record the starting shade of your teeth.
  3. Whitening: the gums are protected, and the gel is applied and activated.
  4. Result: we compare the new shade and give you aftercare advice.

Aftercare

Some sensitivity for a day or two is common. For 48 hours, avoid strongly coloured food and drinks such as tea, coffee, turmeric and cola. Not smoking and regular cleanings help the result last longer.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does teeth whitening damage enamel?

Professional whitening done under supervision is safe for enamel. We first examine your teeth and explain the pros and cons of each option.

How long does whitening last?

It varies with your habits: from several months to a couple of years. Tea, coffee and smoking bring stains back sooner.

Will my crowns or fillings whiten too?

No. Whitening works only on natural teeth, so front crowns or fillings may need replacing to match afterwards.

Are home whitening kits safe?

Some over-the-counter products can irritate the gums or cause sensitivity. Whitening after a check-up, under a dentist’s supervision, is the safer choice.
